SPUC Charlatans

SPUC is a cynical, right wing, catholic group of fanatical anti-choice, anti-abortion, anti-gender equality charlatans.
They have never been on the front or even on the back line of supporting Disabled People and our rights.
We should not be hoodwinked by this group. They will push "cripples" to the fore in the same way as anti-civil rights businesses used Uncle Toms in an attempt to break the resolve, strength, determination and will of Black activists in the nineteen sixties.
Certainly we are (or should be in my view) opposed fundamentally and vigorously to the social pressures placed upon women to have abortions in order to get rid of inconvenient disabled babies but this is not the same thing at all as joining forces with such a group as SPUC.
SPUC is a group which is in favour of forcing raped women, to give birth to the results of such violent assaults. SPUC in fact wants to force women back into dangerous back street abortionists as the only alternative to being made to give birth to and look after unwanted babies.
WE have a world bursting at the seams with people yet this brutal reactionary bunch believe it is acceptable to exploit Disabled People's objection to being killed off on the grounds of impairment by pretending to support us.
No to SPUC!
Yes to real choice and control by women over their bodies and futures!
