Whistleblowing

All disabled people can use'Report-It' for all forms of (institutionalised) Abuse, 'Disabilism' and 'Hate-Crimes' and all other forms of abuse and oppression towards all disabled people by individuals, 'service-providers' and public bodies.

This is an opportunity for disabled peole to regulate and monitor all abuse going on and MHAG can use collected data to send to CEHR and other local and national public bodies and for research purposes.

We need to enable all disabled people to send information and data to MHAG in all formats and that means we enable full accessibility, so people can upload video, audio, written, visual and any other formats which meet the needs of that individual person.

People also might just want to send their reports in by poetry, or other formats and also respect the right for anonymity and people's 'privacy and confidentiality' and most of all 'safety'.

After all the experiences now under 'Nothing About Us, Without Us' we strongly believe that we need to empower ourselves to take full control and start 'whisteblowing.'

If all disabled people are going to get full equality and basic human rights in the UK and globally then it's up to us to 'create' our own 'spaces' and 'speak out' very-loud for 'social justice, full equality and basic human rights and civil liberties for all disabled people.

MHAG is the first ULO 'voice' to enable the 'umbilical cord' to be cut to "free us' from the chains of Our' Oppressors".

FREEOURPEOPLE

MHAG's 'Report-It' space enables all disabled people, allies and other people to 'whistle-blow' and work for 'zero-tolerance' on all forms of institutional and societal prejudicial, bigotry, disabilist, discriminatory comments, attitudes and behaviour, hate crimes and all other forms of abuse and oppression against all disabled people. There can be 'no-place-to-hide'.

'Out-of-sight, Out-of-mind'!

This is 'institutionalised disabilism' that needs to be challenged to 'FREEOURPEOPLE' to enable full equality, social justice and basic human rights and civil liberities of all disabled people. 'Don't suffer in silence'!!!

What/ who are 'service-providers'? Everyone you go to for a service: including Hotels, Shops etc..

Who/what are public bodies ?

This is a strong statement that explains what MHAG's 'Report-It' whistleblowing space is intended to enable to 'FREEOURPEOPLE' and empower 'Us' to monitor and regulate through 'Nothing About Us, Without Us'.

Reports and stories of "treatment" at NHS, Social Services, Council's, Police and all other national and local public bodies and 'service-providers' facilities and within 'society' by individuals and other organistions (inluding charities, private/independent sector, etc), so that the institutional failings of the system towards people with disabilities can be publicised.

Post your stories here and let the world see and know just how badly people with disabilities are treated by the Government and system (CEHR and other public bodies) which are supposed to empower disabled people to 'FREEOURPEOPLE' and are accountable to Disabled People and their ULO's ever since the UK Government signed the UN Disability Convention under 'Nothing About Us, without Us'!
